WS Automation – Switchgear Construction in Sursee

Do you want to independently manage technical projects, develop suitable solutions with customers, and coordinate the implementation directly with our workshop?

We plan and produce switchgear and control systems for a wide range of applications in Sursee. From smaller distributions to extensive switchgear systems, our equipment is created directly in our workshop.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a professional who combines technical understanding with organisational talent and enjoys taking responsibility.

Your Tasks

With us, you will accompany projects from technical clarification to completion and handover. You will work closely with our customers, suppliers, and your team colleagues in sales, planning, and the workshop.

Your tasks include, among others:

• Independent management of projects in switchgear construction
• Clarification of technical requirements with customers and planners
• Development of technical solutions and selection of suitable components
• Preparation and processing of quotations as well as handling changes and amendments
• Coordination of electrical planning and control of project documents
• Work preparation and coordination with the workshop
• Planning and monitoring of deadlines, costs, and quality
• Coordination of material procurement and delivery dates
• Support during inspections, acceptance, and handovers
• Ensuring complete system documentation
• Maintaining customer relationships and providing technical advice

Your Profile

Ideally, you have completed training as:

• Automation technician with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Electrical installer with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Automation mechanic with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) and relevant professional experience
• or a comparable electrical engineering qualification

Further training in electrical engineering, automation, or project management is an advantage.

You bring experience in switchgear construction, electrical planning, or the handling of electrical engineering projects.

• Understand technical contexts and develop practical solutions
• Work in a structured manner and keep an overview even with several ongoing projects
• Keep deadlines and costs in view
