About the job
We offer 121 residential places for young and adult people with a wide range of disabilities. Through care, support and encouragement in the areas of living and leisure, they should be able to lead as self-determined and independent a daily life as possible.
What does your work look like?
Ideally, you work one day a week and take over the deputy role for the full-time caretaker during holiday absences. Together with a second caretaker, you are responsible for the maintenance of the building, technical systems and the surroundings. Tasks include cleaning, monitoring technical systems, outdoor work, minor repairs and winter services. During holiday absences, you take over the deputy role of the full-time caretaker.
What should you bring with you?
You are reliable, independent and committed and enjoy practical work as well as have manual and technical skills. The position is also very suitable for retired persons who wish to remain active and contribute their experience and skills. You enjoy working in a team, are flexible and like to get stuck in. A respectful and empathetic approach to people with and without disabilities is important to you. Very good German language skills, both spoken and written, are required. A category B driving licence must be held.
