Team Leader Production Frozen Products (100%)

For over 100 years, Louis Ditzler AG has been producing and distributing frozen vegetables, frozen fruits, and chestnut specialties throughout Switzerland. As a market-leading production company, we support our regional cultivation partners from sowing to harvest and focus our efforts on sustainable production. Our range is complemented by selected fruit raw materials, for example for yoghurt or ice cream.

We are looking for a reliable and competent person to start immediately or by arrangement:

Team Leader Production Frozen Products (100%)

Your main tasks:

• Supervising and monitoring production processes as well as supporting the plant managers in troubleshooting (coordination with the technical department)
• Promoting, developing, and qualifying employees together with the Head of Production
• Planning and conducting training sessions to continuously improve production goals regarding quality, safety, and efficiency
• Planning the deployment of personnel resources (including shift and holiday planning) as well as equipment in collaboration with AVOR
• Implementing lean methods (5S, Gemba, waste elimination, etc.)
• Identifying optimisation potentials and initiating corresponding continuous improvement process (CIP) measures
• Preparing shop floor meetings
• Promoting cross-departmental collaboration and communication at interfaces (AVOR / Technical / Logistics / Quality Assurance)

Our requirements profile:

• Completed vocational training in the food sector or as a polymechanic or similar practical, technical/mechanical basic training
• Professional experience in the food sector and/or technical field is an advantage
• Experience in lean management as well as good German language skills, spoken and written
• Employee leadership with several years of practical experience
• Socially competent team player with good communication skills as well as reliability and resilience
• Proactive qualities with high initiative and sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work shifts and Saturdays
