As part of the Education Directorate of the Canton of Zurich, the Office for Youth and Career Counselling is responsible for the services in the area of child and youth welfare as well as career counselling. Children, young people and families are at the centre of our work. We dedicate ourselves to them daily with great passion and commitment.
The biz Oerlikon is a cantonal competence centre for career, study and career counselling. We are looking for a career, study and career advisor 60% from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement.
Your tasks:
Together with a professional colleague, you form the specialised career counselling unit for health professions at biz Oerlikon. In this role, you advise clients who are already working in healthcare or are interested in entering this professional field. In addition to individual counselling – also on behalf of RAV or IV – you conduct information events for young people. You manage information services, participate in fairs and maintain diverse contacts.
Your profile:
You are a career, study and career advisor with completed training and experience in advising adults. Ideally, you bring experience, knowledge or a network in healthcare. You have strong presentation skills and an independent as well as efficient working style with high quality standards. You enjoy working in a large organisation and with different contact persons. You work service-oriented, are curious, humorous and strive to find good and practical solutions with clients.
