About the job

• As a specialist caregiver (FaBe), you accompany and support young people, the elderly, and people with disabilities in managing everyday life
• You encourage and maintain the independence of clients as far as possible
• You care for adults with disabilities individually or in groups in residential and day facilities
• You assist clients with everyday tasks such as dressing and undressing, washing, brushing teeth, eating and drinking, as well as household chores, either helping them to do these themselves or taking over for clients who are unable to do so
• You structure the daily routine and leisure time of clients in a meaningful way
• You support clients in maintaining contact with family and friends

• You have completed the compulsory schooling of 9 years with good grades
• You have reached the age of majority (18 years)
• You can express yourself well orally and in writing in the German language
• You have an interest in working with adults with disabilities
• You are a communicative and reliable person and enjoy working in a team
• You are characterised by empathy and good observational skills
• You have no inhibitions and are willing to assist clients with personal care
