Day Families in and around Huttwil
For school children, day families are the ideal form of care, as the care is adapted to the timetable. Our day families care for one to a maximum of five children full-time or part-time. Children can be cared for from baby age until the end of their school years.
In around 45 day families, KIBE Region Huttwil AG offers care opportunities.
The children are cared for in a familial and loving atmosphere. Day families give the children individual attention and offer a normal family daily routine. A familial setting in a child-friendly environment with security and safety. In day families, children can also be cared for overnight and at weekends if needed.
We also train day parents. The basic course "Day Childcare" as well as the course "Emergencies with Infants" is mandatory for day family carers. After concluding the first care contract, the courses must be attended within one year. The carer also attends a mandatory annual further training. The course costs are covered by the day parents' association.
This unique combination of flexibility, experience, and training and further education enables an offer that can be tailored to every child.
