Withholding Tax Officer

The Cantonal Tax Administration is responsible for the collection of direct taxes in the Canton of Graubünden, except where legislation assigns this responsibility to the Confederation or the municipalities. The special taxes department, withholding tax section, is responsible for the collection, control, and calculation of withholding tax.
For the Graubünden Tax Administration, special taxes department, withholding tax section, we are seeking a withholding tax officer for 1 March 2027 or by agreement.
- Recording, checking, and correcting withholding tax calculations
- Investigations and collaboration with employers and municipalities
- Independent handling of specific correspondence
- Providing information and telephone advice to employers and employees of assigned municipalities as well as other services
- Commercial training or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience, ideally in the tax field or payroll administration
- Good numerical skills and interest in tax law
- Willingness to quickly familiarise yourself with the topic of withholding tax
- Independent, reliable, and accurate working method
- Sense of responsibility, discretion, and resilience to stress
- Persuasiveness and assertiveness
- Enjoyment in interacting with employers and employees
- Open and communicative personality
- Negotiation skills as well as excellent oral and written expression in German and Italian; excellent knowledge of Italian is assumed for this position
