For our client, an internationally active company located in the Zurich region, we are looking for an analytically strong and committed individual to provide temporary support in the finance department.

What to expect:

• Creation, development and analysis of financial plans, profitability calculations and various business scenarios
• Support in the financial evaluation of projects and business decisions
• Close collaboration with various internal departments as a business management contact person
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements as well as analysis of relevant financial key figures
• Support in budgeting and forecasting processes as well as conducting variance analyses
• Identification and analysis of financial deviations and development of corresponding recommendations for action
• Preparation of meaningful evaluations, presentations and decision-making bases for management
• Contribution to the optimisation of existing controlling processes and reporting structures

What you should bring:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship EFZ with further business management training in finance, accounting or controlling, or a corresponding degree
• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling, financial planning & analysis (FP&A) or a comparable finance function
• Sound knowledge in financial modelling, corporate planning and business analysis
• Very good MS Excel skills and confident use of PowerPoint
• Experience with SAP or comparable ERP and financial systems is an advantage
• Structured and independent working style with a strong numerical understanding
• Communicative, pragmatic and team-oriented personality who quickly familiarises themselves with new tasks
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
