Key information about the position:
Reference: CLS/RH/2026.776 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 90% / Hours: Monday to Sunday in 12-hour day shifts (7am-8pm) / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

What will you be expected to do?
- Provide adapted and individualised nursing care while respecting quality and safety standards
- Manage the care of patients pre- and post-operatively in general surgery
- Support patients at various stages of oncological illness as well as their relatives and administer specific treatments
- Strictly apply hygiene and asepsis rules
- Collaborate closely with all healthcare professionals involved in patient care
- Contribute to the supervision and training of students
- Complete the electronic patient record and ensure traceability of care provided
- Actively participate in development and continuous improvement projects within the unit
Who will you be working with?

Essentials:
- HES nursing diploma or equivalent qualification recognised by the Swiss Red Cross
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with ease in working in varied environments (medicine and surgery)
- Strong sense of responsibility, solid team spirit and genuine willingness to collaborate and support others
- Ability to manage stress effectively and handle unforeseen events calmly
- Flexibility and availability to adapt to fluctuations in activity
- Proven versatility and interest in the richness of multidisciplinary care
Your assets:
- Professional experience in oncology, medicine and/or surgery
- Strong interest in the technicality of care and demanding environments
- Autonomy, initiative and strong clinical judgement
