Accounting Clerk 80%

The Finance Department manages the financial accounting of the municipality as well as for five other affiliated companies and foundations. As an accounting clerk, you are responsible, together with your colleagues, for maintaining the general ledger as well as the accounts payable and accounts receivable accounting. You are also involved in the financial planning and budgeting process.

To complement our Finance Department, we are looking for a new team member. Are you a team player, flexible, and work precisely? From 1 November 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for an accounting clerk 80%.

Tasks

• Assistance with budget, financial planning and annual accounts
• General accounting tasks
• Supervision of apprentices in the Finance Department
• Recording of accounts payable invoices
• Recording of accounts receivable invoices
• Maintaining a small foundation accounting
• Daily accounting transactions
• Counter service

Expectations

• Commercial basic training or equivalent education
• Course certificate as a vocational trainer or willingness to complete the course
• Further training as an accounting clerk
• Good to very good Excel skills
• Experience in public sector accounting is an advantage (HRM2)
• Flexibility and teamwork are required
