Test Assistant for approx. 1.5 years (mainly Wednesdays) 20%The Office for Youth and Career Counselling (AJB) is part of the Education Directorate and is responsible for child and youth welfare, career counselling, and scholarship allocation. It provides various counselling and support services centrally and decentrally at several locations in the canton of Zurich.
The biz Winterthur is one of 7 biz centres in the canton of Zurich and is responsible for the city of Winterthur and the districts of Winterthur and Andelfingen. Through a wide range of offerings, biz Winterthur supports both young people and adults in their entire education, career choice, and career path. This is done in the form of individual consultations, diagnostic assessments, information events, seminars, and the use of the information centre.
From 1 April 2027 or by arrangement, we are looking for a Master’s student in Psychology as a Test Assistant at 20% for approx. 1.5 years (mainly Wednesdays)
Tasks:
- Individual test administration with individuals or groups
- Evaluation of diagnostic procedures and feedback to career, study, and career path counsellors regarding the behaviour of those tested (performance, interest, motivation, and personality tests, etc.)
- Test management (test ordering, test PCs, material filing, etc.)
- Delegated tasks from the person responsible for diagnostics at biz Winterthur (e.g. summarising a test, developing worksheets, preparing documents, etc.)
Requirements:
- You are currently completing the final semester of your Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or have recently started your Master’s degree in Psychology
- You have an interest in career, study, and career path counselling as well as test diagnostics
- You possess solid knowledge of test construction and statistics
- You demonstrate an independent and responsible working style
- High social competence
- Reliability
- You enjoy working with young people and adults in career choice or career planning
