As an Intern Sustainability Services, you support the CTO department of SPIE ICS in expanding and implementing their Sustainability Services. The internship is limited to 6 months and starts in February 2026 or by arrangement.
You actively participate in ongoing initiatives, customer consultations, internal and external communication measures, as well as in the further development of the service portfolio. In doing so, you work closely with the Sustainability Services Portfolio Manager and the sales teams to strengthen the impact and reach of the services, especially in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding of sustainability as well as Green IT / Sustainable IT and willingness to deepen knowledge
- Support in consulting projects: data collection, analyses, research, documentation, preparation of customer files
- Exchange with customers to assess needs and present the sustainability portfolio as well as participation in marketing
- Participation in internal initiatives and process improvements for stronger integration of sustainability services
- Collaboration with engineering, sales, marketing, CTO and sustainability for project coordination
- Support with presentations, workshops, events and internal as well as external communication
- Research and benchmarking on sustainability standards and market trends
- Support of the sustainability and sales teams to increase visibility and reach in the German-speaking part of Switzerland
- Master's degree in management with a focus on sustainability, IT-related is an advantage
- Strong writing and communication skills as well as the ability to prepare complex content in an understandable way
- Analytical, solution-oriented thinking as well as business analysis skills (especially data interpretation)
- Creative, innovative mindset and openness to question established approaches
- Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude and initiative to implement ideas or projects
- Native German speaker, very good English skills, French is an advantage
- Workplace: Bern, willingness to travel to other SPIE locations and customers in Switzerland
