Geomatics Specialist / Geomatics Technician (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF85,000 - 95,000This Rocken partner is an owner-managed company with around 25 employees and conducts surveys for municipalities, cantons and private individuals. The latest technical tools are used, evaluated precisely and digitalised. For construction companies, you survey and plan entire neighbourhood developments and also develop solutions in the field of watercourse rehabilitation.
Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a professional as a Geomatics Specialist / Geomatics Technician (80-100%) for diverse tasks in surveying and geoinformation. You will work on demanding projects in construction and engineering surveying, 3D surveying as well as official surveying and work with modern measuring and geoinformation systems. In addition to data collection, you will take on the preparation, evaluation and documentation of geodata using CAD and GIS applications. Depending on experience, there is the possibility to take on increasing responsibility and independently manage your own surveying projects.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of construction and engineering surveys for building, civil engineering and infrastructure projects
Carrying out staking out, terrain surveys, control and inventory surveys
Conducting and evaluating modern 3D surveys as well as preparing spatial measurement data
Processing and updating official surveying in accordance with applicable Swiss regulations
Recording and processing surveying data using GNSS, total stations and modern digital measuring systems
Preparation, plausibility checks and quality control of geodata and surveying data
Creation and updating of CAD and GIS data as well as technical plans and documentation
Use of GeoMedia, AutoCAD Map 3D and/or Civil 3D for digital project processing
Participation in innovative applications in the areas of 3D, BIM and digital inventory recording
Coordination of surveying work with clients, engineers, authorities and other project participants
Gradual assumption of independent project management including scheduling, organisation and project execution
Qualifications:
Completed Swiss basic training as a Geomatics Specialist EFZ or further training as a Geomatics Technician with federal certificate
Professional experience and sound knowledge in surveying and geomatics
Knowledge in construction, engineering and/or official surveying
User knowledge of a GIS and CAD system, ideally GeoMedia, AutoCAD Map 3D or Civil 3D
Interest in 3D surveying, BIM and modern geomatics technologies
Experience in independent project work or project management is an advantage
Valid category B driving licence
