CNC Mechanic (m/f/d)
Location: Bettlach (SO)
Contract type: permanent
Start date: immediately or by arrangement
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
The incumbent sets up CNC short and long turning machines, monitors the production of precision parts, performs quality checks and ensures smooth production processes including simple maintenance and optimisation tasks, covering the following range of duties:
- Providing tools, control devices and fixtures according to instructions Setting up, operating and monitoring CNC short and/or long turning machines
- Performing tool changes and corrections as well as troubleshooting
- Cleaning machines and performing simple maintenance tasks
- Assisting in creating and optimising simple NC and CNC programmes within projects
- Processing work orders according to QS guidelines and work documents
- Self, first-piece and counter checks
- Correct and complete filling out of production documents according to GDP
- Processing orders according to supervisor’s instructions
- Reporting deviations from target times
- Knowing and following the guidelines regarding code of conduct, ethics and compliance programmes as well as other relevant regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed technical or mechanical training
- At least 1-2 years of practical experience or higher secondary education without formal training but several years of experience and additional training courses
- Experience with CNC machines (short and/or long turning)
- Experience in industrial production, preferably in medical technology or precision industry
- Confident handling of technical drawings, work instructions and inspection documents
- Knowledge in handling measuring and testing equipment as well as performing quality inspections
- Good PC user skills
- Economical as well as high-quality and punctual production of products according to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) in 2-shift operation
- High quality standards and a strong sense of responsibility
