About the job
The KESB Winterthur-Andelfingen is responsible for ordering civil law protective measures in cases of child welfare endangerment as well as for adults in need of assistance. Would you like to contribute your proven expertise and social competence as well as your life experience to case management in child and adult protection? A professional environment and a motivated team await you from April 1, 2026, or by arrangement.Your Tasks
- Management (technical, administrative, and personnel) of the authority department (3-4 specialists, 1 clerk)
- Case management (including conducting hearings and ensuring the right to be heard)
- Assessment and decision-making individually and in a panel of three
- Participation in maintaining and coordinating cooperation with various specialist offices, municipalities, courts, as well as other authorities and institutions
Your Profile
- Tertiary degree in law, psychology, or social work
- Several years of professional experience and solid knowledge in Swiss child and adult protection law
- Leadership experience
- Very good written communication skills and conversational competence
- Psychologically resilient, assertive, and well-organized personality
