Location promotion at the Office for Economy and Labour develops and positions the economic, labour, and tourism location of the Canton of St.Gallen.

We are looking for a

Project Manager Innovation Promotion

Workload: 50-80%

Workplace: St.Gallen

What to expect

• Initiate and lead projects to develop the economic and innovation location St.Gallen
• Co-design and develop the cluster strategy of location promotion as well as appearances and events within the framework of innovation promotion
• Support NRP projects in the field of innovation, actively participate in the project management committee of the Innovation Network Eastern Switzerland INOS
• Conduct contract negotiations, develop service agreements, and carry out corresponding annual discussions
• Prepare departmental, government, and cantonal council matters

What distinguishes you

• University degree with a focus on economics or innovation or equivalent education and training in the technical, innovative, or economic field
• Several years of professional experience in business, innovation promotion, or research
• Experience in managing demanding projects
• In-depth knowledge and good networking within the Swiss research landscape and neighbouring countries
• Good language skills in German and English
