Location promotion at the Office for Economy and Labour develops and positions the economic, labour, and tourism location of the Canton of St.Gallen.
We are looking for a
Project Manager Innovation Promotion
Workload: 50-80%
Workplace: St.Gallen
What to expect
- Initiate and lead projects to develop the economic and innovation location St.Gallen
- Co-design and develop the cluster strategy of location promotion as well as appearances and events within the framework of innovation promotion
- Support NRP projects in the field of innovation, actively participate in the project management committee of the Innovation Network Eastern Switzerland INOS
- Conduct contract negotiations, develop service agreements, and carry out corresponding annual discussions
- Prepare departmental, government, and cantonal council matters
What distinguishes you
- University degree with a focus on economics or innovation or equivalent education and training in the technical, innovative, or economic field
- Several years of professional experience in business, innovation promotion, or research
- Experience in managing demanding projects
- In-depth knowledge and good networking within the Swiss research landscape and neighbouring countries
- Good language skills in German and English
