Tasks

Sicherstellung des Ablaufs an der Réception und Gästebetreuung.
Check-in und Check-out der Hotelgäste sowie Bearbeitung von Reservierungen.
Mitwirkung bei Hotelrenovation und Einhaltung der Sorell Standards.

Skills

Abgeschlossene Hotelfachausbildung EFZ und gute IT-Kenntnisse.
Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Sprachen von Vorteil.
Begeisterte Verkaufspersönlichkeit mit charmantem Auftreten.

The Sorell Hotels are the largest Swiss hotel group in private ownership with 15 individual city and holiday hotels in the 3- and 4-star range in Zurich, Dübendorf, Winterthur, Bern, Rapperswil, St. Gallen, Schaffhausen, and Bad Ragaz. The 4-star superior Sorell Hotel Speer with its 56 rooms, sushi bar, terrace, and lobby bar is an ideal hotel for holiday guests and business people. It is located in the heart of the old town of Rapperswil-Jona and is only a 2-minute walk from the main train station.

Are you our new team member who will support us as a receptionist immediately or by arrangement?

Your area of responsibility:

Ensuring the workflow at the reception
Welcoming, attending to, and bidding farewell to hotel guests
Processing and fulfilling guest requests
Check-in and check-out of hotel guests
Operating the telephone and information center
Receiving and processing incoming reservations
Conducting a professional complaint management
Creating and editing daily closings
Maintaining booking channels
Completing various administrative tasks
Adhering to and implementing the "Sorell Standards", hygiene, and occupational safety guidelines
Ensuring extremely careful handling of food, consumables, and materials, devices, and machines with the aim of caring for the environment and promoting sustainability
Assisting with the upcoming hotel renovation starting at the end of 2024 with subsequent reopening in spring 2025.

You will work 5 days a week (Mon-Sun) in the late shift at a 50% workload.

Your strengths:

Completed hotel management training EFZ
Good IT skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and hotel reservation programs
Very good oral and written German and English skills, additional foreign language skills are an advantage
Enthusiastic sales personality
