These are your tasks
- Assuming professional responsibility for the entire nursing process
- Ensuring care in complex nursing situations
- Carrying out nursing measures with a focus on the safety and well-being of residents
- Maintaining and ensuring complete and comprehensible nursing documentation
- Taking on the role as contact person for doctors, involved services as well as residents and relatives in the nursing process
- Participating in the training of apprentices according to own competencies
- Ensuring compliance with and implementation of instructions, guidelines and standards to guarantee nursing quality

- Tertiary education and solid experience in long-term care (returnees are warmly welcome)
- Strong social skills
- Flexibility, resilience and openness to new things
- Independent and focused working style, with a holistic view of resident care
- Good oral and written German skills as well as understanding of Swiss German dialect

Burgerspittel is the elderly care institution of the Burgergemeinde Bern. At the locations "Viererfeld" and "Bahnhofplatz", Burgerspittel offers the appropriate living arrangement for around 190 elderly people in a well-maintained environment. The offer is aimed at the entire population - membership in the Burgergemeinde is not a prerequisite. Around 200 employees are committed with great warmth and ensure a high quality of life for the residents with professional services in nursing, care, hospitality, administration and everyday activities.
