Social Worker BSc

If you also want to make a difference in people’s lives, these are your tasks:

• Advice and support for patients and relatives on social, financial and legal matters, both inpatient and outpatient
• Mediation and advice on accessing resources from health and accident insurance benefits, social insurances or social welfare
• Close cooperation with the medical, nursing and therapeutic treatment team, as well as external specialist agencies and authorities
• Coordinating and organising tailored follow-up solutions at home and abroad
• Case responsibility

Become part of the social counselling team, which supports our patients and their relatives with comprehensive advice on personal, financial, professional or legal issues. We are there for patients both during inpatient and outpatient treatments. The social counselling service is part of the Clinic for Internal Medicine with training status A, which, with over 3,500 inpatient patients, more than 20,000 emergencies and over 450 patients cared for annually in the interdisciplinary intensive care unit, is a central and important service centre of the hospital.

This is how you convince us:

• Completed studies as a social worker (university of applied sciences)
• Ideally, you have experience in a hospital context or in the healthcare sector
• Attentive and courteous towards patients and relatives
• You have a networked and process-oriented way of thinking, as well as high communication skills and empathy towards the various stakeholders.
• You enjoy working independently, solution-oriented and take responsibility
• You speak fluent German and have knowledge of English
• Your humorous and cheerful manner enriches our team
