About the job
The Gadmer Lodge is a mountain hotel with alpine charm, nestled in the impressive mountain world of the Gadmen valley in the Bernese Oberland. Personal hospitality, a family atmosphere, and the immediate proximity to nature characterise the character of the house. The lodge is an ideal starting point for nature lovers, families, athletes, and groups who want to discover and experience the diverse mountain world around Gadmen.
The Gadmer Lodge was extensively renovated and rebuilt in 2018/2019 and opened in September 2019. A further extension and modernisation took place in 2023/2024.
The entire operation has 71 beds in double and multi-bed rooms and combines hotel, gastronomy, relaxation, and active mountain experience under one roof. The operation includes a restaurant and theGadmer Stübli with a total of 80 seats, a sun terrace, as well as a cosy bar & lounge. Sauna and hotpot complement the offer with opportunities for relaxation and regeneration. The immediately adjacent sports and multi-purpose hall expands the offer, especially for groups, sports camps, and events.
For the operational management of the Gadmer Lodge, we are looking for a committed host personality or a host couple from December 2026, who will lead the operation with passion, entrepreneurial thinking, and a strong presence on site, and further develop it together with the team and management.
