Service Technician for Electric Trucks and High-Voltage Battery Systems 100% (m/f/d)

For our Aftersales department, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an ambitious service technician. If commercial vehicle technology is nothing new to you and you are enthusiastic about innovative e-mobility, you might soon be our new colleague.

Committed to sustainability, we shape electromobility with innovative drives, chargers, and mobility concepts. The Designwerk team, consisting of around 200 employees, successfully brings sustainable commercial vehicles and proprietary products onto the roads.

Your area of responsibility:

• Carrying out service, diagnostic, and repair work on Designwerk electric trucks as well as on high-voltage battery systems (HVB) in operation and on-site with customers both domestically and abroad
• Planning and coordinating service and repair assignments
• Independent fault analysis and creation of diagnoses as well as initiation of appropriate measures
  (including feedback to production and development)
• Commissioning, parameterisation, and functional testing of repaired high-voltage battery systems
• Preparation of repair protocols as well as safety and work instructions for work on high-voltage systems
• Technical customer advice and handling of customer complaints
• Technical support and coaching for partner and customer workshops
• Conducting technical training (DW components) for Designwerk partner and customer workshops
• Implementation of technical campaigns
• Supporting the development department in the production of prototypes of high-voltage battery systems
  (providing feedback from service cases)
• Conducting accompanying and instructional drives with electric truck drivers

How you score:

• Completed basic technical training as a mechatronics technician EFZ (ideally in the commercial vehicle sector)
• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
• Good IT user skills (diagnostic systems, documentation, data transmission)
• High customer orientation as well as independent and structured working style
• Team-oriented personality with an interest in electromobility
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form
• Good English skills, French skills an advantage
• Confident, calm, and responsible work in a high-voltage environment
• Driving licence category C or willingness to obtain it
