Your Tasks
- Co-responsibility for seasonal and market-fresh meal planning including organization of purchasing
- Co-development of the daily menu planning for the restaurant, the care department and the staff
- Development of the seasonal à la carte menu with the head chef
- Co-responsibility for all diets and special preparations
- Co-responsibility for the efficient organization of processes within the kitchen
- Guidance and control of staff in the design/portioning of meals
- Acceptance and inspection of all goods deliveries in the kitchen area
- Proper storage of all items
- Management of the kitchen storerooms
- Continuous adjustment and further development of the area and the overall operation in cooperation with the head chef
- Representation of the head chef during their absence
- Compliance with the hygiene concept and its implementation in the kitchen
- Co-leading the kitchen team
- Training of staff
- Co-responsibility for the training and supervision of apprentices
- Motivation of the kitchen staff
- Discussion of personnel and organizational matters with the head chef
What You Bring
