About the job
Chef/Cook EFZ
As a competence centre for the elderly, we offer a comprehensive range of services in our new building that adapt to the individual life situations and needs of residents and patients. This can be in inpatient long-term care, in specialised departments for dementia, rehabilitation and transitional care, or palliative care. We provide a suitable venue for culinary experiences or for events and conferences with our versatile gastronomy landscape. The services area includes a hairdressing salon, a foot care studio, and a physiotherapy practice. Thanks to our highly qualified staff and the innovative building with state-of-the-art technology, we are one of the leading institutions in the region. Furthermore, in cooperation with the Vivola Foundation, we offer assisted living at various locations in Langenthal.
Life happens here!
Your mission:
Your varied tasks include the production, preparation, and presentation of diverse, creatively appealing, and tasty offerings. You will joyfully participate in the preparation of meals in the various gastronomy services for the residents, in the à la carte restaurant plaisir49, in the self-service restaurant, in meal preparation for external locations, as well as at banquets for conferences, seminars, and events.
Your skills:
For these diverse tasks, you have a qualification as a Chef/Cook EFZ. You bring great passion for your craft, are a team player, and enjoy an exciting mix between à la carte cuisine and communal catering. You are resilient, value a well-groomed appearance, and have experience with hygiene regulations. As a training company, we care about promoting young talent; you act as a role model and gladly pass on your knowledge.
Our benefits:
You benefit from attractive discounts on gastronomy, services, and leisure offers, as well as from exceptional staff events such as excursions, team events, and our popular staff party. We support you in balancing work and family life, for example through our partnership with MiniKita Langenthal, where we contribute to childcare costs.
