We are opening a modern new building for assisted living and care in Lausen (Basel-Land) – a place where residents, guests, and employees should feel comfortable. With a total of 40 care rooms, 34 assisted living units, and a public restaurant. For this exciting task, we are looking for a committed service employee who wants to be involved from the very beginning.

You will work closely with the gastronomy management and have plenty of room for your own ideas, creativity, and participation.

Service Employee and Catering Service 60-100% (m/f/d)

Your tasks - responsible & versatile

In our public restaurant, you perform all service tasks
You courteously attend to our guests in the restaurant and serve food and drinks professionally
You assist with larger events and banquets
You prepare the trays and carry out the service for the ordered room service meals of our residents
You support the care departments with the service and take over the catering service across departments, which is no problem for you
You take care of cleanliness and order in the restaurant and back office. You know and apply the HACCP guidelines.

What you bring - professionally & personally

Training as a restaurant specialist or restaurant employee or equivalent training
Several years of professional experience in a house with refined service, preferably in a similar establishment
Good manners and a high understanding of elderly people
Good German language skills
Willingness to work on weekends
