Trainer in Feed Technology
Would you like to pass on your expertise in feed technology and provide practical training to people from all over the world? At our School of Feed Technology (SFT), you combine sound process knowledge with pedagogical skills. You design theoretical and practical training sessions, continuously develop training content and accompany customers as well as internal employees directly at our plants or on site at the customer’s location. Look forward to a varied role in an international environment with plenty of scope for creativity and the opportunity to actively shape the future of education and training.
This is where you will excel
- You conduct theoretical and practical training in all areas of feed technology and impart your expertise in a practical way to customers as well as internal employees
- You continuously develop training materials, teaching aids and training formats and tailor them specifically to the needs of the participants
- You independently carry out trials with raw materials and training in our application centre, analyse product quality and derive optimisation potential from this
- You accompany international course participants during their training and ensure professional, competent and hospitable support
- You support our customers with mill inspections, technological questions and on-site training and actively contribute to the professional and organisational development of our School of Feed Technology
These are the required skills
- Completed apprenticeship as a miller specialising in animal feed or alternatively in the food sector, ideally with several years of professional experience in a feed mill
- Sound knowledge in the field of feed milling, especially in the processes of grinding, mixing, compacting and cooling, as well as good knowledge of machinery and process engineering
- Pedagogical training and/or experience as a trainer, lecturer or instructor is an advantage, combined with enthusiasm for conveying complex content in an understandable and practical manner
- Convincing, communicative and motivating personality with enjoyment of working with people from different cultures as well as an independent and structured way of working
- Very good German and English skills, knowledge of another foreign language is a plus; willingness to travel worldwide up to 20%
