Tasks:
- executes, organizes, and verifies the individual therapeutic plan for the patient according to the instructions received from their direct superior related to diagnostic and pharmacotherapeutic framework, ensuring in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, the care of the patient
- performs and carries out medical-psychiatric or child psychiatric visits, if necessary in collaboration with psychologists, for patients, following the therapeutic plan and implementing it within the scope of their professional competences
- actively collaborates with doctors from psychiatric and somatic hospital facilities and with private practice doctors, in agreement with the OSC chief psychiatrist, regarding the somatic care of patients and according to the instructions of the direct superior
- is required to train in the specialty of psychiatry and psychotherapy or child and adolescent psychiatry according to FMH regulations
- prepares, in agreement with the direct superior, reports with other public and private structures operating in the territory to create ideal preconditions for network intervention
- ensures on-call duty in the territory and/or shifts at the Cantonal Psychiatric Clinic (CPC) as provided by the "OSC medical on-call and shift regulations"
- drafts, in collaboration with their direct superiors, medical psychiatric expert reports assigned and supervised to them
- guarantees the correct drafting of TARDOC and TARPSY services
Requirements:
- medical diploma (or equivalent title)
- if holding a foreign medical diploma, present recognition issued by the Medical Professions Commission Mebeko, "Training" Section, and language proficiency certificate (Italian-B2)
- candidates in specialist training in psychiatry and psychotherapy
- candidates in specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry and psychotherapy
- preference is given to candidates who have already completed the non-specific clinical professional training year (somatic year) as provided by the FMH specialization professional development regulations (www.fmh.ch)
- perfect command of the Italian language, knowledge of English and/or a second official language
- teamwork attitude
- knowledge of the territory and the social-health network of the Canton Ticino
Special notes:
- employment relationship: assignment (art. 15 LORD)
- full-time employment (100%) or with lower employment rates (to be defined)
- service location will vary depending on available positions. In their application, the candidate is invited to indicate whether they apply within their training in psychiatry and psychotherapy or in child and adolescent psychotherapy
- availability of the candidate to work irregular shifts

- the selected candidate holding a foreign medical diploma and not yet in possession of recognition issued by the Medical Professions Commission Mebeko, "Training" Section, and the language proficiency certificate (Italian-B2) issued by Mebeko, must obtain both requirements before starting activities as established during the selection process for the specific vacant position. Failure to obtain the requirements will result in automatic forfeiture of the assignment
- the start of activities of the selected candidate is subject to the issuance of the authorization to practice by the Health Office of Canton Ticino
