You will work interdisciplinarily with experienced engineers and develop solutions for modern machines and automated systems.

Area of Activity

In this versatile and technically demanding role, you take responsibility for the development of control and automation systems for machines and process plants – from requirements definition to commissioning.

You work in interdisciplinary project teams and develop innovative, efficient and safe control solutions on behalf of customers. We place great value on personal exchange and direct collaboration within the team. For this reason, the activity mainly takes place at our location in Zurich. Your main tasks at a glance:

• Conducting process analyses and requirements engineering
• Development of software architectures and hardware concepts (PLC, Safety, HMI)
• Selection and evaluation of suitable components and suppliers
• Implementation, testing and documentation of software solutions
• Commissioning and troubleshooting internally as well as on-site at the customer
• Presentation and discussion of solutions with customers and project partners

Requirements

• Engineering degree (FH, ETH or equivalent), preferably in electrical engineering, automation or systems engineering
• Experience in the development of control or automation solutions
• Knowledge of PLC/control technology and software engineering
• Understanding of electrical engineering, sensor technology, actuators and drive technology
• Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration and direct customer contact
• Entrepreneurial thinking as well as a confident manner
• Personalities who enjoy working closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams
• Very good German (C1) and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Good communication skills and confident appearance
