The Fondation Beyeler is one of the internationally renowned and most visited museums in Switzerland. It is known worldwide for its high-calibre exhibitions, its significant collection of modern and contemporary art, as well as its diverse educational and event programme. In accordance with the wishes of its founders, it is particularly committed to conveying art to a broad audience and to young people. The extended ensemble with museum buildings by Renzo Piano and Peter Zumthor, as well as historic, carefully renovated buildings, is idyllically situated in a spacious park with old trees and water lily ponds. The unique location in the middle of a protected landscape area, the generous parkland, the light-flooded exhibition halls, and the diverse spaces for encounters and contemplation offer visitors varied art and nature experiences throughout the year.Our Art Shop offers a select range of books, posters, design objects, and art editions. To support our Art Shop team during the exhibition "Frida Kahlo" we are looking for sales assistants from the beginning of January until the end of May 2027
Sales Assistants Art Shop (m/f/d) 60-80%
Your tasks
- You advise our international customers
- You operate the cash register including accounting
- You sell audio guides and are responsible for issuing and preparing them
- You ensure a neat and appealing sales area
- You provide information on general enquiries and the Fondation Beyeler programme
Your profile
- You have already gained initial experience in sales and enjoy direct customer contact as well as advising
- You have very good German skills and good English skills; knowledge of French is an advantage
- You have an open, friendly, and courteous manner
- You enjoy working in a team, are reliable and resilient
- You are flexible and willing to work on weekends or evenings
- You are interested in art and culture
