What to Expect

How do companies protect themselves from hacker attacks? What technology is needed for employees of internationally operating companies like Apple, McDonald's, or Baloise to collaborate? If questions like these interest you, then an apprenticeship as a Computer Scientist EFZ with a focus on platform development could be the right choice for you! Here you will learn to understand everything about IT from the ground up and work with the latest technologies.

You can complete your IT apprenticeship with the specialization "Platform Development". It may sound a bit complicated, but it's super exciting! You will learn what it takes for our server systems to run securely and for our network to be efficient – allowing our employees to collaborate effectively.

How will your training proceed?

You will complete the first year of training externally at aprentas . The cool thing about it: You will get to know trainees from other companies and acquire the basics for your training.
In the following three years, you will be with us in the company. Here you will gain practical experience, and on top of that, we offer you specialized courses.
During all four years of training, you will attend classes at the vocational school and learn the theoretical foundations for your work. Additionally, we would love it if you would like to attend the vocational maturity school (BMS) during your apprenticeship.

And don't worry: During your apprenticeship, you are never alone, but always have instructors by your side and learn step by step.

You attend district school, secondary school (middle or highest school level), gymnasium, FMS, or business school.
You have good German as well as solid English and French.

You are an eager and sociable person with pleasant manners.
You have an accurate, independent working style and can organize yourself well.
