We are looking for a

Senior Electrical Machine Engineer 100% (m/f/d)

for the mechatronics department.

We are addressing an experienced technician with several years of experience in intralogistics or the machinery industry for this position. For the development of intralogistics complete solutions in e-commerce, as well as conveyor and processing systems. We plan and implement complex complete solutions at the engineering level, manufacture, deliver, and install entire systems as well as individual components.

What you will achieve with us

• Technical responsibility and implementation of development projects in mechatronic engineering electric – in close coordination with mechanics, PLC software group, planning, and production
• Technical support for sales and aftersales in project sales and follow-up
• Technical meetings with project managers, production, and suppliers
• Preparation of series diagrams, drawings, and parts lists in Engineering Base, CATIA V5, and PLM for electrical equipment, controls, and assemblies for CE and UL areas
• Compliance with all relevant standards and guidelines
• Specification and coordination of additional developments
• Creation of customer-specific electrical equipment and assemblies in coordination with system engineering electric
• Creation of templates (typical) projects in Engineering Base
• Short-term support of system engineering electric in large plant projects
• Technical support for commissioning technicians
• Co-design of processes and development of concepts in close collaboration with system engineering electric, product managers, PLC software group, production, planning, customers, and suppliers
• Support in the evaluation of electrical components
• Design and verification of safety functions according to risk assessment according to EN ISO 13849-1 and/or EN IEC 62061

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) as an automation technician, electrician, or in a related field with further training as an electrical engineer HF/TS or equivalent professional experience
• Design experience in mechanical or plant engineering
• Good CAD/CAE skills, ideally in CATIA V5 and Engineering Base
• Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams)
• Good English skills in spoken and written form (level B1), additional foreign languages are an advantage
• Good German skills in spoken and written form (minimum level C1)
• Conscientious, resilient, flexible, and reliable working style
• MTR UL508 certification is an advantage
