BÜHLMANN Laboratories AG is an international production and trading company in the field of Life Sciences with its headquarters in Schönenbuch, Basel-Landschaft canton. For 50 years, we have developed leading in-vitro diagnostic products (IVD) trusted by hospitals and private medical laboratories worldwide. We employ over 150 staff, of which 140 are in Schönenbuch.
To strengthen our Operations & Manufacturing team, we are looking for a committed and precise individual as:
Production Planner & AVOR Specialist (m/f/d) 100%
In this central interface role, you take on the operational link between production planning, warehouse management, production, and quality assurance. You ensure that production orders are prepared on time, all necessary materials are available, and all production documents are processed completely and in compliance with regulations (including Batch Record Review). You primarily control the processes via our ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You report directly to the Lead Manager Production.
Your tasks – your opportunity
- Production planning & work preparation (AVOR): Planning, creation, release, and tracking of production orders in Business Central considering capacities, material availability, and delivery dates.
- Master data & process maintenance: Maintenance and control of bills of materials, work plans, article and batch master data as well as identification and handling of bottlenecks.
- Quality assurance & Batch Record Review: Complete, audit-compliant execution of Batch Record Reviews and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (ISO, IVD, GMP).
- Material & warehouse disposition: Planning and monitoring of material requirements (raw materials, components, packaging materials) as well as control of warehouse movements, inventory corrections, and batch traceability.
- System-based processing (ERP): Operational use of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central to monitor material consumption, production bookings, and to open and close orders.
- Interface coordination: Close and solution-oriented collaboration with the departments of production, warehouse, purchasing, quality assurance, and maintenance.
Your profile – what you bring
- Education: Completed technical, commercial, logistical or scientific training (e.g. biological laboratory technician, logistician, process specialist) or a corresponding university of applied sciences degree.
- Professional experience: Several years of practical experience in work preparation (AVOR), production planning or production control.
- Regulatory environment: Experience working under GMP/IVD/medical technology or pharmaceutical quality standards including solid practice in Batch Record Review.
- ERP & IT skills: Very good practical user knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (areas of production, bills of materials & warehouse) as well as proficient use of MS Office (especially Excel).
- Warehouse & material management: Solid knowledge in material disposition, inventory management, batch administration and seamless traceability.
- Working style & personality: Precise, structured and independent working style with a high overview of parallel running orders as well as strong quality awareness.
- Communication & team spirit: Strong communication skills as an interface person and enjoyment in the continuous optimisation of operational processes.
- Languages: Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills.
