Walls and fences can quickly become insurmountable obstacles for hedgehogs and other wildlife. Create passages - in your own garden, at friends' places, or in the neighborhood. Every single passage counts!
The created openings can be marked with a hedgehog plaque - as a visible sign that a path for wildlife has been opened here. Those who wish can additionally borrow a wildlife camera from the project to capture which animals use the new path on their nightly excursions.
Our goal is to ensure that as many people as possible create at least one passage.
Furthermore, we welcome tips on places where permeability is lacking - such as in parks, school areas, cemeteries, residential areas, or family gardens. All inaccessible green spaces are of interest. If you know of such places, please send us a photo and the location details via email to: beidebasel@wildenachbarn.ch.
