WRS Widmer Rail Services AG is a railway company operating in the three language regions (German, French, Italian) of Switzerland, extending to cross-border traffic as well as in Germany, Austria, and Italy. For our motivated small workshop team in Balsthal, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a Mechanic for Locomotive Maintenance (m/f, 100%). In this role, you will take on the following tasks:

Diagnosing vehicle malfunctions
Independently performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul work in compliance with regulations
Supporting and implementing project work on locomotives

You bring:

Mechanical-technical or electrotechnical training
Knowledge in pneumatics, hydraulics, and railway technology is an advantage
Good German language skills, spoken and written (at least C1)
Good Office user skills
Car driving license
Analytical and solution-oriented thinking
Precise and independent working style
Openness to new things and willingness to learn
Flexibility and ability to work in a team
