About the job

• You take responsibility for central IT services in the areas of storage, cloud, virtualisation, and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring stable, secure, and efficient service operations.
• In a complex multi-provider environment, you manage internal and external service providers, monitor services, and ensure compliance with agreed service levels.
• You accompany the entire service lifecycle – from conception through implementation to continuous development. You actively contribute your technical expertise in storage systems, especially NetApp, Microsoft Azure, virtualisation, and data centre operations.
• You work closely with architecture, operations, security, and external partners, support engineering and operational issues, and ensure transparency, quality, and reliability in service management.

• You have completed training in computer science or a comparable qualification, as well as experience in IT service management, provider management, or engineering/operation of complex IT infrastructures.
• You bring solid knowledge in several of the following areas: storage systems such as NetApp, Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud, virtualisation, server infrastructure, backup, monitoring, or ITIL-based operational processes.
• You combine technical understanding with structured service responsibility, work solution-oriented, and maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• Very good German skills are required. English skills as well as certifications in ITIL, Azure, storage, or virtualisation are advantageous.
