Together with our client, a non-profit organisation, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for an accountant 60-80%. The organisation operates at various locations and employs staff from different professional fields who jointly contribute to fulfilling the overarching mission. Overall, the company is characterised by a diverse range of activities, a social orientation, and a high value placed on collaboration with various stakeholders. The central workplace in Bern is particularly easily accessible by car and public transport.

Your tasks with the new employer

• Your main tasks include the independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• You process and monitor subsidiary ledgers including dunning
• As an important interface, you work closely with management and controlling and provide advice on accounting issues
• The professional and personnel management of the small accounting team expands your area of responsibility

You offer your new employer

• In addition to a commercial basic education, you have ideally completed further training in finance and accounting (e.g. federal specialist certificate)
• You have at least four years of professional experience in a comparable role
• You communicate confidently in German and ideally have good French skills; you also use Excel and common ERP systems routinely and quickly familiarise yourself with new applications
• You are independent, service-oriented and enjoy working in a team
