Project Manager Automatic Doors (m/f/d)
Job Overview
As part of strengthening our Automatic Doors Projects department, we are looking for our future colleague to lead the implementation of our solutions with our clients in French-speaking Switzerland. As a Project Manager, you will take charge of complex projects related to our automatic doors and physical access systems, from order validation to final acceptance and closure. As a true technical reference, you coordinate all stakeholders and ensure project completion within deadlines, costs, quality standards and safety requirements.
What you will do
Technical support and sales assistance
- Advise sales teams on choosing technical solutions suited to client needs.
- Carry out on-site measurements and verify order compliance with site requirements.
- Develop technical drawings and execution plans using DraftSight and AutoCAD.
- Calculate prices and prepare offers for complex projects.
- Create and monitor order files in Doricon, Salesforce and SAP.
Project management and coordination
- Plan, coordinate and manage projects from launch to commissioning.
- Monitor orders, materials, supplies, installations and schedules.
- Coordinate interventions with various site stakeholders (clients, general contractors, electricians, security specialists, installation teams, etc.) and ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintain smooth communication with factories for specific requests and technical adaptations.
- Use BIM platforms provided by clients for project tracking and coordination.
Financial monitoring, quality and compliance
- Ensure administrative, financial follow-up and project profitability in SAP.
- Identify and monitor projects with significant margin deviations.
- Authorise invoicing and ensure project closure.
- Ensure compliance with dormakaba quality standards and installation conformity with current safety regulations.
- Guarantee client satisfaction throughout the project.
What we require
- Higher technical education (ES Technician, HES Engineer or equivalent), ideally complemented by project management training (federal certificate or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management in a technical environment (security systems, building automation, access systems, construction or similar sector).
- Proficiency in DraftSight and AutoCAD.
- Excellent knowledge of French; proficiency in German and/or English is an asset.
- Strong customer orientation, with the ability to analyse needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Autonomy, rigour, organisational skills and ability to make decisions in a complex and evolving environment.
