Internship in Sports Promotion (50%) - Start: 1 October 2026

Would you like to gain initial practical experience in municipal sports promotion and actively participate in city projects? Then we look forward to your application.

• You will be involved in organising and coordinating the city’s physical activity programmes.
• You will support the area of children’s and youth sports programmes, financial contributions/youth sports promotion, as well as the preparation of the city’s athlete awards ceremony.
• You will implement quality management measures and maintain communication tools in the area of children’s and youth sports programmes.
• You will contribute administratively, communicatively and organisationally to other projects of the Department of Culture and Sport.
• You will assist at events of the Department of Culture and Sport and support the delivery of children’s and youth sports programmes on site.

• You have a degree at university or university of applied sciences level (Bachelor) in sports, politics, economics or a comparable field related to sports promotion.
• You have recognition as a J+S coach or are willing to obtain it.
• You are interested in the processes of public administration.
• You are confident in using common work tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• You have experience or an affinity for communication and social media.
• Ideally, you are familiar with the sporting and cultural life of the city of Lucerne.
• You are a reliable and team-oriented person.
• You enjoy varied and diverse tasks.
