Area of responsibility

• You define and specify project-specific EMC requirements in close coordination with the respective development engineers and ensure their compliant implementation.
• You develop EMC-compliant design specifications based on your expertise and determine the system-technical arrangement of components.
• You develop clear technical guidelines for the internal development department with the aim of avoiding electromagnetic interference at an early stage and clearly defining interfaces.
• You advise and support adjacent departments on technical questions regarding electromagnetic compatibility and contribute your expertise in a solution-oriented manner.
• You competently represent your topics in professional working groups, actively participate, and also accompany them during project-specific implementation.
• You are responsible for planning, organising, and professionally supervising EMC tests and evaluate the results with regard to compliance with the requirements.
• You conduct analyses and simulations of electromagnetic compatibility using modern tools and derive well-founded assessments from them.

Requirements profile

• Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering / system engineering specialising in communications engineering, electrical engineering or similar
• Experience in development projects, especially with regard to EMC
• Experience in the field of EMC measurement technology and EMC standardisation EU EMC Directive 2014/30/EU
• Flexibility and quick comprehension
• Structured, careful and independent working style
• High level of social competence and pronounced teamwork skills
• Enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Confident manner in internal and external dealings
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
