What you can achieve
- Technical responsibility for the System Engineering C5I area
- Overall responsibility for the design, specification and further development of the ICT system and infrastructure architecture
- Advising project teams on complex technical issues as well as architecture and infrastructure topics
- Analysis and continuous optimisation of the system and platform landscape to ensure a stable, scalable and high-performance ICT infrastructure
- Definition of technical standards and best practices for the operation and further development of the platforms
- Promoting collaboration with teams from other departments to optimise interfaces
What you bring with you
- University degree in computer science or equivalent training supplemented by system engineering further education
- Several years of solid experience in the design, implementation and further development of complex ICT infrastructures
- Broad technological understanding and experience in designing modern system architectures
- Comprehensive knowledge of network, firewall and server technologies in security-critical environments
- Structured and conscientious personality with a can-do attitude and high commitment
- Fluent German skills; English skills (Level B2) and French are an advantage
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
