Workshop Manager Slitting & Cords (m/f/d)

Professional management and operational control of all production activities in the Slitting & Cords area with the aim of ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality processes. You are the technical key figure in the area and support the department in achieving production goals. You coordinate resources and provide professional leadership to the shift teams to ensure their optimal deployment and continuous development.

• Operational management of the "Slitting & Cords" area, ensuring smooth production processes
• Professional leadership and support of the shift teams, including coaching and knowledge transfer
• Planning and coordination of resources (shift staffing, holiday planning, technician deployments)
• Monitoring product quality and compliance with occupational safety regulations
• Analysis of deviations and implementation of preventive and corrective measures
• Participation in process optimisation and continuous improvement projects
• Support in the introduction of new technologies and investment projects
• Ensuring correct time and attendance recording within your area of responsibility

• Completed technical basic training with a Federal VET Diploma (e.g. plant operator, production mechanic or equivalent)
• Further training as a process specialist or equivalent qualification is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in production
• Initial leadership experience or willingness to take on a leadership role
• Good technical knowledge in handling machines and equipment
• Structured working method, quick comprehension, and organisational talent
• Strong communication skills and team orientation
• Confident handling of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and MS Office
• Very good German skills, English skills are an advantage
