Accounting Clerk (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a specialist as Accounting Clerk 80-100% (m/f/d) for an established Swiss industrial company. In this position, you will support the finance team in operational accounting and take on a variety of tasks related to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payment transactions, and closing activities.
Responsibilities:
Processing and posting of accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices
Monitoring open items and conducting dunning procedures
Handling and controlling payment transactions including bank postings
Supporting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Assisting with VAT returns
Contributing to the optimisation and further development of accounting processes
Qualifications:
Completed commercial training, ideally with further education as Accounting Clerk
Several years of professional experience in Swiss financial accounting
Good knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger accounting, and payment transactions
Good user skills in an ERP system and MS Office, especially Excel
Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
