You will work 80-100% in Zug for 6 months
This position offers you
- You participate in various technology projects – from research through solution finding to the implementation phase
- Designing and constructing functional models, prototypes, or simulation models is in your hands
- You experimentally examine prototypes and compare measurement data with theoretical models
- You program data analyses with Python or implement interfaces to hardware
- Finally, you analyze results and present the outcomes
You bring the following for the position
- You are studying mechanical engineering, process engineering, materials science, mechatronics, physics, data science, or a related field and have successfully completed at least 5 semesters (please attach transcript)
- You have initial knowledge and personal interest in software and tools in your field (e.g., CAD programs, simulation tools, Python, etc.)
- Your strong interest in new technologies and innovations motivates you to contribute to our open team
- You are a goal- and solution-oriented person with an independent, proactive, and structured working style
- Your good German and English skills (at least B2) complete your profile

V-ZUG Technology and Innovation
In the Technology & Innovation department, we work on future innovations for our household appliances. We conduct applied research on technologies that will one day find their way into our products. We are an interdisciplinary team with a lot of spirit, and the question "how does this work?" accompanies us daily and drives us.
You can expect a challenging and varied activity within technology and preliminary development. Tailored to your studies, you will be responsible for various work packages in technology projects such as mechanical design and construction, prototype creation, experimental investigation of components, setup of sensor or analytical solutions, or programming data-based innovations. You will gain insight into idea and innovation management, our own testing and analysis laboratory, and after a few months, you will definitely look at every household appliance with different eyes.
