The Kantonsschule Hohe Promenade is a grammar school with classical and modern language profiles, an immersion course in German / English, as well as a strong STEM offering. Around 800 pupils learn at our school, taught and supported by 150 teachers and staff in administration and operations. At the start of the autumn term 2027/28 or by arrangement, a position as a Secondary School Teacher with Special Responsibilities (mbA) in French is to be filled at our school.
Your Tasks
- You will teach French and interdisciplinary formats at our grammar school and participate in project weeks.
- You will be involved in the subject department and advocate for the subject in all its facets.
- You will take on special duties within the school (class teacher role, participation in committees and school development projects, etc.).
Your Profile
- You have completed a university degree at master’s level as well as the teaching diploma for grammar schools.
- You bring several years of teaching experience at a grammar school, ideally at a long grammar school, and stand for demanding, contemporary, and dynamic teaching.
- You are an open, team-oriented, and committed personality who values both subject education and cross-disciplinary skills.
- You want to engage in a lively school culture.
