The University of Bern educates over 19,000 students and employs more than 7,500 staff in around 150 institutes, ten competence centers, and the central administration.
The General Secretariat is the central coordination and contact point of the University of Bern. We are looking for a clerk starting January 2026 or by agreement for a part-time position of 50-60%.
Tasks- Organization of events, especially Dies academicus
- Support of Senate meetings
- Assistance with the preparation and follow-up of university management meetings
- Electronic recording and updating of business
- Interface to the Fundraising Foundation of the University of Bern
- Maintenance of the website
- General secretarial tasks
Requirements - Completed commercial training or several years of professional experience, ideally in administration, solid MS Office skills including Teams, ideally experience with CMI Axioma
- Careful and efficient working style
- Organizational skills and flexibility
- Confident German, good English and French skills
