As part of the expansion of our Software Quality Engineering division, we are looking for one of our clients based in Lausanne (Switzerland), a Test Analyst (M/F) on a permanent contract, dynamic and motivated, to join our team of passionate experts. This role is part of our mission of excellence and commitment to our clients, providing advanced test industrialization solutions for all information system applications (Web, Mobile, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.).
Job Description
As a Test Analyst, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing tests related to business processes within an agile team. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of business processes, working closely with development teams, business analysts, and project managers to ensure that processes operate optimally and comply with defined requirements.
Your role:
- Design detailed test plans in dedicated tools, based on acceptance criteria, process specifications, and business requirements.
- Write test cases applying best practices to assess the compliance of business processes.
- Perform functional tests by acceptance criteria to validate User Stories throughout Agile sprints.
- Verify compliance with mockups (design) and defined UX/UI rules.
- Document, track, and ensure effective resolution of identified defects, adapting to the constraints and prerequisites of different test environments.
- Prepare test scenarios for automation by the automation team.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and business specifications.
- Provide progress reports and analysis of test results to stakeholders.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of test and business processes by identifying optimization opportunities.
Qualifications
- Engineering degree in computer science (EPF, HEC) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Analyst or similar role.
- At least 2 years of experience in an Agile environment.
- Experience in a Cloud environment, ideally Azure.
- Strong experience in functional system integration testing.
- Good knowledge and understanding of Front-End testing.
- Excellent knowledge of API testing and Web user interface testing.
- In-depth knowledge of software testing processes and the different phases of the development cycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with members of multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive nature: understand existing solutions and processes and be a driving force for proposals.
- ISTQB and/or Agile (SAFe, PSM, or CSM) certifications appreciated.
- Proficiency with collaborative tools such as Jira, Xray, Confluence, and documentation tools.
- Desired experience in test automation (ReadyAPI, Tosca, or other tools).
- Fluency in French and English (minimum B2) both spoken and written.
