For our Wafer Production Engineering department at Axetris AG, we are looking for an independent and motivated individual as a Process Engineer in the Backend area.
Your tasks
- Responsibility for the continuous improvement of processes and associated equipment
- Development and optimisation of production parameters in wafer manufacturing
- Transfer of new processes into series production
- Specification, evaluation, installation and qualification of new systems and equipment
- Ensuring 2nd-level support for equipment and process issues in production
Your profile
- Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in semiconductor production, ideally in dicing or pick-and-place
- Good knowledge of common quality and process management methods such as FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, root cause analysis, etc.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- High initiative as well as strong implementation skills and practical orientation
