Educational Advisor within the Training Centre

The CHUV Training Centre is seeking an educational advisor at an 80% workload, on a permanent contract, to strengthen its Educational Support Unit. The starting date is scheduled for 1 December 2026.

Context

The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the five Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.

The CHUV Training Centre coordinates and develops professional and continuing education activities for hospital staff. It contributes to skills development, improvement of practices, and the quality of services offered to patients.

In a context of evolving educational practices, health professions, and learning methods, you will contribute to the development of innovative training, based on evidence and adapted to the needs of health professionals, in close collaboration with programme leaders, training managers, and subject matter experts.

Mission

• You provide your educational expertise to strategic development and innovation within the Training Centre
• You support programme leaders and training managers in the design, implementation, and evaluation of training systems
• You develop and disseminate best practices in educational and training engineering, simulation, and learning assessment
• You design and lead educational development activities for trainers
• You participate in the activities of the Educational Support Unit as well as the Scientific and Educational Commission of the Coordinated Clinical Competence Centre (C4)
• You develop collaborations with professional, academic, and scientific networks, in Switzerland and internationally.

Profile

• You hold a Master’s degree in educational sciences or an equivalent qualification
• You have additional training in adult education, educational engineering, or a related field
• You have proven experience in the design and evaluation of training systems
• You have experience in the educational support of trainers or training managers
• You have a strong interest in the training challenges of health professionals
• You demonstrate excellent analytical, communication, and advisory skills
• You know how to develop partnerships and engage various stakeholders around projects and common goals.
