About the job
CONTACT, Foundation for Addiction Support, offers services in the field of harm reduction. Its aim is to reduce the risks and negative consequences of substance use for those affected and society. CONTACT is guided by the four-pillar model of Swiss addiction policy.
From 20 July 2026 or by arrangement, we are looking for a
Civilian Service for CONTACT Work in Thun
CONTACT Work offers people with substance use problems and psychosocial difficulties supervised workplaces and daily structure. CONTACT Work Thun operates a varied range of work in different areas such as recycling, garden maintenance, clearances, removals and cleaning. The work is carried out in supervised groups or small teams.
As a civilian service provider you support the team in the care, accompaniment and guidance of clients (with a substance use background) in recycling, carpentry, and in the garden and house area. Furthermore, you actively assist in carrying out assignments.

You are a humorous and open personality with high social competence. You have an interest in working with people with substance use issues, practical experience and a category B driving licence.
Period of assignment: Ideally from 20 July - 17 December 2026
