About the job

The Employment Integration Winterthur belongs to the Social Services department. With around 85 employees, it annually supports more than a thousand participants on their path to professional integration. In view of the retirement of the current position holder, we are looking for a strong implementation-oriented leader with broad management experience in the social sector from summer 2026 or by arrangement. Would you like to lead employment integration and its services further into the future with your entrepreneurial foresight and innovative spirit?

Your Tasks

Strategic and operational management of the organization and integration programs according to business management principles and considering municipal guidelines

Further development of the operation, workflows and processes as well as offers and programs

Promotion of work culture as well as the skills and abilities of employees

Constructive collaboration with clients and referrers (social assistance, asylum, employment office)

Strengthening acquisition

Coaching of the seven department heads

Active participation in the Social Services management team

Your Profile

Several years of leadership and management experience (across multiple levels) in employment integration and administration, ideally related to social assistance and asylum

(Fach-)University degree, preferably in social work or business administration, complemented by qualified management/leadership training

Proven achievements in project/change management and organizational development

Understanding of political contexts, social dimensions, and public interest

Strong solution- and implementation-orientation, negotiation skills, and business management approach
