About the job
The Baumer Group is an internationally leading manufacturer of sensors and measuring instruments for factory and process automation. We owe this success to our approximately 2,800 employees worldwide, who are always passionately, expertly and committedly searching for the best solutions for our customers.
The headquarters in Frauenfeld (Thurgau) sets the pace for the globally sought-after Baumer sensor solutions. Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at customers on time and in Baumer quality.
Do something great – and ensure that highly precise sensor solutions reach customers worldwide at the right time and in the best Baumer quality. In this key role, you take overall responsibility for our Motion Control production in Frauenfeld and make a direct contribution to further expanding our position as a technology leader. You operate at the interface of people, processes and technology, thus shaping a central area of our value creation. You can expect a modern production environment with demanding sensor products, well-established processes and a motivated team of around 25 employees. Together, you ensure that material availability, production planning, manufacturing and delivery mesh precisely and that our customers worldwide can rely on Baumer. For this task, we are looking for a doer with leadership strength, technical understanding and the ambition to continuously improve things. You question the status quo, recognise optimisation potential and use lean methods purposefully to further develop availability, efficiency and quality. You benefit from short decision-making paths, a cooperative environment and plenty of scope for design. As part of the Order Fulfilment management team, you actively contribute to cross-departmental improvements and help shape the future of our production. If you want to take responsibility, develop people and achieve sustainable results, we look forward to meeting you.
With us, collaboration takes place where ideas are born: together on site. We are convinced that good leadership, team spirit and quick decisions work best when people can exchange ideas personally. That is why we deliberately rely on 100% work on site – for close collaboration, short distances and a lively corporate culture. In exceptional cases (e.g. visit from a craftsman, doctor’s appointment, official business, etc.) it is of course possible to work from home occasionally.
